EasyVoxBox.org

A full featured IP PBX phone system. EasyVoxBox is based on Asterisk and freePBX and installs a complete system quick and easy. It gives full control and provides additional system utilities via the web based user interface.

Hardware Requirements:

Any i386 based PC.

Installation:

1.) Download the iso file, check the md5sum and then burn to a CD.

2.) Set the bios of your install PC to boot first from CDROM and second from HD. Insert CDROM and reboot. CAUTION this will erase your HD before starting the installation!!!

3.) You will be prompted for your time zone and password. The password will be used for your console root login. When Centos install completes, the CDROM will eject. Remove the CD immediately. The system will reboot a couple more times while showing many messages on the console screen. When the install is complete, you will see the boot prompt on the screen.

4.) Your EasyVoxBox is now ready for use. Navigate to the IP number of the EasyVoxBox from a brower window on another PC. You should be prompted for a login. The default username is easyvoxbox and the password is password. You may also be prompted for a login to some of the subsections. The login is the same for all but the PBX Setup. This will enter freePBX and the default login is username: admin and password: admin.

Tip:

The default setup is to use DHCP to acquire an IP address. To find your IP address, login to the console using username: root and the password you selected during installation. Type the command ifconfig. Your IP number should show up on the resulting screen. If you are unable to use DHCP, you can set the IP network parameters by using the netconfig command.
